It’s time to get scared Toronto! Or to laugh your backside off, because the Toronto After Dark Film Festival is kicking off its summer screenings tonight with a very special presentation; it will be screening Jaun of the Dead, apparently the first zombie flick ever made in Cuba! Since its release to festivals a few months ago, word is that it has become quite the hit, and the zombie comedy is yours for the viewing tonight at 7 pm, at the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema.

The summer screenings are being held both as a promotion for the main Festival, which is held in mid-October, and as an early treat for fans. The screenings include four films across two separated nights, tonight and Wednesday, July 11th, and feature Jaun of the Dead and The Pact tonight, and Detention and V/H/S on the 11th. Tickets can be purchased directly through the Festival’s website, or in advance at the theatre’s box office. Tickets are restricted to adults 18 and up, and also include access to social events for viewers 19 and up (more information on that via the link, as well),
